Egglings!I’ve given these as gifts more than once, but for myself (and my budget) they seemed a bit too frivolous. When I found two of them for 25 cents each at a garage sale I tried to stifle my excitement just in case the people selling it suddenly decide they wouldn’t want to sell something that celebrated.


Here is what is inside. Egg, stand, directions, extra seeds…


You tap the top of the egg carefully with the back of a spoon  just enough to get it started and then chip at the edges like you are an archaeologist unearthing a million year old tadpole. Once the hole is big enough you water it until some comes out the bottom.  Then ones thing leads to another and BAM. Something starts growing. Or you have a egg full of unviable seeds and have nice, wet dirt garden to take care of.
